The Dark Knight Rises is without a doubt the biggest movie of the year. While it “only” had the third biggest opening weekend in history, it’s 2D-only release means that it actually sold more tickets than the top 2. We here at Screen Invasion were excited for the flick and most
To offer commentary on The Dark Knight Rises is to go back to every part of the movie and discuss it. Therefore, I will say that this is not a review, but more a discussion of what works and what does not within the film, and contains MAJOR SPOILERS below.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is an amazing experience and a flawed movie, both spectacle of the highest order and a house of cards. It’s worthy of your time, attention and love, but it doesn’t rise to the transcendent heights of previous entries in the series.

A brand new trailer for the highly anticipated third installment in director Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series, The Dark Knight Rises, has hit the internet today. This one is some sort of Nokia exclusive basically promotional reasons. The trailer comes in at 2 minutes and 17 seconds which is decently
It is so exciting, this whole anticipation, about The Dark Knight Rises. It feels like it’s been forever since we first started to get news, pictures and info about it. (July get here already! Where’s a Flux Capacitor when you need one?) And even though I loved the two previous Christopher

Upcoming Western crime drama Lawless has unveiled several posters of each ensemble character, featuring quite an impressive cast. Director John Hillcoat takes another turn with actor Guy Pearce (Memento), with whom he’s previously worked with on The Proposition (2006). In addition to Pearce, the cast of Lawless includes: Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Shia
Okay kids, I need to preface this review with the disclaimer that I am not, nor have I ever been a girly-girl in the sense that I am a rom-com fan, even less so a rom-com-action fan. Even with that said, I have my moments. I did buy Love Actually
This Means War was seriously overlooked at the box office, falling in the shadow of the Valentine’s Day release of The Vow. But where The Vow goes for the heartstrings and the tear ducts, This Means War goes for the belly laughs and the explosions. In honor of This Means War hitting DVD/Blu-Ray on May
The annual announcement of the Cannes Film Festival line-up is one that usually instills a sense of awe, followed by searing jealousy. Never have we been more envious than this year, however, as the Croisette is gearing up for their hottest selection of films yet. So what can you expect
It’s that time again! Another weekly DVD/Blu-Ray Roundup! Here are the new releases for the week and my opinion on whether you should Skip It! Rent It! or Buy It! This week has two really big releases which are The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

I am just excited as the next Bat-fan for next year’s sure to be epic finale but I will admit this; I am not that fond of not only the media but every person with a camera phone (which includes toddlers nowadays) taking pics of everything except Nolan’s nose hairs.
The immense hype continues and no doubt will certainly not come to an end until every Bat-fan has seen THE DARK KNIGHT RISES at least a dozen times. Some photos were released during the filming of a scene in Pittsburgh today. Among these pics were none other than Tom Hardy dressed in
