Listen in as Jim reviews Hunted, a gruesome new take on Red Riding Hood. Gruesome is the only word I have been able to think about since watching Hunted.

Hunted is an original film from Shudder. This past year has been amazing for Shudder Originals. My wife is not a huge fan of the horror genre, and she was hooked on the movie from the beginning.

Revenge films have a special place in my heart and have since I saw Kevin Costner in Revenge and was solidified by Old Boy. Shudder has some cool curated films, but this one should be at the top of the list.

Synopsis:

A modern and radical take on the Little Red Riding Hood fable, HUNTED is an exhilarating, transcendent, and frequently brutal survival tale that elevates itself with the power of myth and magic, while still holding an exacting mirror to present-day society. Starring Magritte Award-winning actors Lucie Debay (THE CONFESSION) and Arieh Worthalter (GIRL). Directed by Vincent Paronnaud, co-director of PERSEPOLISE. A Shudder Original.
