THE OWNERS Movie Review

The Owners is a splendidly done home invasion film that hits on so many levels. The film is definitely one you will want to check out. I am a fan of the slow burn. These types of films keep you guessing what is going to happen next. Just when you think that you have it all figured out you are completely blindsided by the final act of the film. The film takes place inside an old home on the British countryside. The scenes are scarier as a result.

Directed by Julius Berg, the film stars Maisie Williams, Sylvester McCoy, and Rita Tushingham.  I love the progression of the characters, especially Williams’ character who goes from meek and naive to bad ass. McCoy and Tushingham make this movie. They are so mild mannered yet creepy as fuck.
