Urban Armor Gear – Awesome Cases to Protect Your Tech – Review

Urban Armor Gear was kind enough to send me three of their products to review. They sent me a case for my LG V20, my iPhone 7 Plus, and my iPad Mini. It is great having things sent you for review, but it is even better when you actually like the product and plan on using it daily.

I’m not typically a fan of cases on my phone’s but wanted to give these babies a shot. They are made of rugged materials and are military grade drop test approved. They’re not overly bulky in your hand and the construction of the cases feels extremely solid and they are perfectly molded to the phone. This is very important for any phone case because precision molding is important for the buttons and ports to line up. Urban Armor Gear has done a great job of getting this right.

Both of my phone’s are pretty darn slippery without a case. When I popped the UAG cases both phones feel good in my hands. They’re not too bulky despite being very sturdy. Each phone case has the perfect grip and feels great whether you are using it with one or two hands. The iPad case fits securely in your hands and I am no longer afraid I am going to drop it.

Cases I have used in the past make it difficult to press the volume and or power buttons on the phone. These cases feel as they are the perfect extension of the phone and iPad. The buttons even make a clicking sound, not loud, just a very satisfying clicking sound when pressed. Other cases feel wobbly when pressing those same buttons. This goes back to the precision crafting of the cases.

Check out some photos I took of the cases and keep reading for specs on each case:
