If you’re like me and keep up with every tiny little detail regarding San Diego Comic Con than I’m sure you’ve heard of Comic-Con HQ. Well, the idea of it at least. This new venture was announced last year during San Diego Comic Con, but mainly grabbed my attention during the Her Universe Fashion Show when Ashley Eckstein, founder of Her Universe, announced that a Her Universe Fashion Show series would be hitting the streaming service sometime this year. And here we are! The press release was just sent out this morning and beta will be starting in May, while its launch will take place in June. Lots of features will be included in the Comic-Con HQ streaming service too! The main thing mentioned that is super interesting to me is the live streaming fact. Will we see panels live streamed like we do at Star Wars Celebration? Guess we’ll find out.

The ad-free streaming service will feature an evolving slate of programming including original scripted and unscripted series, recurring daily and weekly entertainment commentary, plus unique access to a growing library of live and archival programming from their world-class events, a highly-curated selection of film and TV genre titles, and behind-the-scenes access and bonus features from genre titles that defy and define pop culture.
