…and the sky is blue, and grass is green (most of the time).

Over the weekend, one Tumblr user was surprised to discover that Colton Haynes, who played Roy Harper/Arsenal on The CW’s Arrow, has a “secret gay past.”

“When I found out Colton Haynes had a secret gay past, I got so excited even though I know it makes absolutely no difference in my life,” the original message reads.

“Was it a secret?” the 21-year-old actor responded on his own Tumblr, saying, “Let’s all just enjoy life & have no regrets.”

The “secret gay past” the original poster is probably referencing a young Haynes’ participation in a photoshoot that was published in XY Magazine, a publication aimed at gay youth, back in 2006. Dedicated fans would all likely know this by now. There is some contention with said photos, as you’ll read in the linked website. Back in 2011, an attorney claiming to represent Colton Haynes tried to make blogs take down the XY photos.

Most attempts has since been unsuccessful due to Fair Use. So while Haynes’ non-homophobia is public knowledge today, it’s unclear to say whether or not he at least tried to cover up that particular event in his early modeling career since rising to stardom with Teen Wolf and then Arrow. Either way, it doesn’t seem that Haynes is at all bent out of shape over it.

Gay or straight, dude can rock a drag queen look like whoa. And that’s all that really matters, right?
