Valiant Entertainment Celebrates 25 Anniversary, Renews Deal With DCD

This month is the celebration of Valiant Entertainment’s 25 Anniversary!

The comic book publishing company first opened its doors in 1989 and now 25 years later have sold over 81 million comics and have over 1,500 characters that fans love including Bloodshot, X-O Manowar, Shadowman, Eternal Warrior, and others.

As a way of celebrating this huge milestone, Valiant Entertainment has renewed its distribution deal with Diamond Comic Distributors.

“Diamond is pleased to continue working closely with Valiant Entertainment, providing retailers with the opportunity to stock their favorite Valiant titles,” said Diamond’s Vice President of Purchasing, John Wurzer. “We look forward to seeing what the next 25 years for Valiant Entertainment holds as we work to help them grow their business.”

As of 2015, Valiant has launched a wave of best-selling comic series to widespread critical acclaim. The series includes including THE VALIANT by New York Times best-selling writers Jeff Lemire & Matt Kindt with art by Eisner Award-winner Paolo Rivera; IVAR, TIMEWALKER by New York Times best-selling writer Fred Van Lente with art by Clayton Henry; DIVINITY by New York Times best-selling writer Matt Kindt with art by Trevor Hairsine, and other popular titles that can be found here.

“Valiant’s enormous success since the company’s return to publishing in 2012 is due in no small part to the support and assistance of Diamond,” said Valiant Chief Operating Officer & CFO Gavin Cuneo. “We will continue work in close concert with the Diamond team in the coming years to ensure Valiant’s continued growth in comics retail shops and bookstores around the world.”

All of Valiant Entertainment’s titles can be found in any (if not all) comic book stores.
