Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. “The Dirty Half Dozen” Recap

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes full circle this week with “The Dirty Half Dozen,” and it does so in grand fashion. As Coulson reunites his core team from Season One, he also gets a call from Agent Maria Hill that changes everything and setting the stage for the new Avengers film, Age Of Ultron.

While Raina continues to hone her new power of seeing the future, she learns that machines will destroy cities and everything will soon change. Coulson, meanwhile, has located the head of HYDRA in a remote area, where he is believed to have a few very important things. Baron Von Strucker not only has two successful test subjects incarcerated in the Maximoff Twins, he also has his HYDRA hands on Loki’s scepter. Yes, that scepter.

It’s been a fun ride in this second season of S.H.I.E.L.D., save for a few episodes that focused way too much on Skye and her changes. Now the stage is set for The Avengers to take over the big screen this weekend, save the day, and leave Coulson, his team, and what’s left of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agency to clean up the mess in the remaining weeks of Season Two.

Fellow geeks, how many times will you see Age Of Ultron this weekend?!
