DEADPOOL Comic Series Ends

With April now here, the inevitable is upon us: Deadpool will die…maybe.

In “Deadpool #45,” our favorite Merc with the Mouth will be killed off. This last issue will mark the 250th issue in total in the “Deadpool” series.

In an interview with Nerdist, Gerry Duggan talks about issue #250 (or #45 if you will).

“Deadpool #250, is a story that we really have been building to since the first issue of Deadpool NOW. And it will absolutely feel – it will feel, I hope, readers will think that this is an appropriate end for this Deadpool.”

However, there is still the running series, “Return of the Living Deadpool,” so this isn’t the last time readers will see Deadpool in action.

Here are the two variant covers for the issue:

Deapool #250 variant 1 This cover is reminiscent of the last issues of last year’s “Death of Wolverine #4” miniseries.

Just like Wolverine, Deadpool is being carried away by Death.

Deadpool #250 varaint 2

This cover is a throw back to 1963’s very first “Avengers #1” when the Avengers first fight against Loki.

In this cover, Deadpool steps in and takes over (in true Deadpool fashion).

The last issue of “Deadpool” will be in comic shops April 8, 2015.
