Marvel: All-New, All-Different Avengers
Marvel is teasing us…with an “all-new, all-different Avengers”. That’s a mouthful. However, this isn’t the first time that Marvel has used this prefix for a comic book. There have also been, “All-new, all-different X-Men” and “All-new, all-different Alpha Flight“. Marvel clearly likes using the prefix. The prefix is also Marvel’s tell-tale sign that something big is coming.
For example, in 1975 a new team of X-Men (led by Cyclops) were assembled to rescue the original X-Men. In 2004, Alpha Flight’s six-issue story arc, “You Gotta Be Kiddin’ Me” also saw the use of the prefix.
So basically, the Avengers team rooster is in for some changes. Apparently, the new Avengers is set to debut in May. May is going to be a busy month for Marvel because, remember that’s when “Secret Wars” and Marvel’s Original Graphic Novel, “Rage of Ultron” will debut as well.
So far, Marvel has given us the teaser image to go on.Hopefully, more will be revealed during Marvel’s big “announcement to end all announcements”. Their words exactly:
