I couldn’t stress this enough. My favorite game for the SNES is, of course, EarthBound. I love this game so much, and the first time I saw that giant box just sitting in Electronics Boutique (remember them? I mean, before Gamestop) I knew I needed that game. My uncle had the game, and that was the first time I actually saw gameplay–I was instantly in love. Ness reminded me of myself! I had a little sister, I had a dog, I may not have had the spiffy pjs that Ness did but connected with Ness instantly. Oddly, I was the only one out of the small group of kids I knew who actually knew who Ness was when Super Smash Bros. was released. This game may not be as underrated as it once was, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth picking up. And after nearly two decades, it made a return on the Wii U Virtual Console.

There you have it folks, some of the games I love for the SNES. There’s so many more games to discuss, and while I missed a lot I think there’s a lot to discuss here. What are some of your favorite SNES games? Are you interested in playing or collecting games for the SNES and don’t know where to start? Let’s chat about it in the comments!
