What To Expect from Marvel Studios “Secret” Event Tuesday
Marvel Studios announced late last week that they will hold a “secret” press event on Tuesday, October 28, and the internet nearly exploded with speculation as to what they could possibly have up their sleeve this time. Hot off the heels of last week’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer release, and also the announcement that Summer 2015 will be a huge year for Marvel Comics, anything is fair game with this pending press conference.
We here at Agents Of Geek can tell you what’s likely to go down:
Since DC Comics has literally beaten Marvel to the punch with their press release of upcoming DC Comics films through 2020, it’s highly likely Tuesday will bring an announcement from Marvel that is two-fold: listing the Marvel films that will comprise the future Phase 3 slate of their Cinematic Universe (a Black Widow spy film with Scarlett Johanssen, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Cap 3, Thor 3, and Avengers 3, which will complete a Joss Whedon Avengers trilogy) but also…the reveal that they have re-acquired the movie rights to Spider-Man, and that they have big, big plans for him to join The Avengers.
The Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer release already has tens of millions of online views in just a matter of days, and Marvel will certainly pour gasoline on that fire this Tuesday as they roll out their plans for Cinematic Phase 3, and reveal to the world that Spidey has come home.
Fans, if not these revelations, then what would you like to see?
