Gamescom 2014: HELLBLADE Announcement Trailer
Ninja Theory, the developers behind Heavenly Sword and DMC, have announced their new IP, Hellblade, at the PlayStation conference for Gamescom. Hellblade is based on Celtic myth, and focuses on protagonist, Senua, as she travels through the underworld on a personal journey. Dominic Matthews, Product Development Ninja, took to the PlayStation Blog to get the message out on their new “independent AAA” game.
Ninja Theory will be publishing their own game to “make a smaller, more focused game experience that is uncompromising in its combat, art and story, and deliver this digitally at a lower price.” Matthews’ post on the blog has more information regarding development.
