FROZEN’S Ending Could Have Gone a Completely Different Way
Disney’s Frozen is still everywhere. “Let it Go” is playing even on the radio now. It’s a near perfect film about discovering female empowerment and sisterly love. The ending was not only a pleasant surprise, but a welcome change as well. The story overall is not without its holes, thought. When watching for the first time, I noticed the king and queen’s immediate reaction towards Elsa’s powers. After seeking some helpful yet vague advice from the head troll, they do the cruelest thing parents can ever do to a child — lock her away from everyone for the remainder of her life. If only they had gone the other way…
Obviously, I was not the only one who noticed this. From the folks that brought you How it Should Have Ended comes “How Frozen Should Have Ended.” I must point out that we’ve all heard this joke before; however, the epilogue tops everything off like a perfect bow.
Also, what was up with the opening song in the beginning of Frozen? If you knew absolutely nothing about the plot coming in, you’d have thought you were going to watch a movie about Eskimos, or something.
