Matt Smith’s Finest Moments as THE DOCTOR

As filming for series 8, with Peter Capaldi as the new doctor, begins…let us take a look back at the moments that made us all love Matt Smith’s incarnation of The Doctor. Matt Smith gave some epic speeches, quirky and plenty of emotional moments during his time on the show that made us all watch him in awe. Below, I put down some of his many brilliant moments, if I didn’t include one you think should’ve been included comment in the comments section below and let me know! There were so many! Lets start up a Matt Smith conversation!

Fish Fingers and Custard:

This moment was the moment we all realized just how quirky and awesome The Doctor was going to be. After crashing in young Amelia Pond’s yard, he asks for some food and little Amelia gives him whatever he asks for, but he doesn’t seem to be enjoying any of them until….fish fingers and custard.

I know what I need! I need… I need… I need… fish fingers and custard!

I’m the Doctor. Basically…Run!

He’s quirky, but he’s The Doctor….And basically….run.

Hello. I’m the Doctor. Basically. Run.

Pandorica Speech:

Probably the most epic speech the eleventh doctor has ever given and it was the moment that made us all stare in awe of Matt Smith. As all the doctors enemies gather in the sky above the Pandoria, he gives this brilliant speech and also tell them how distracting they are.

Hello, Stonehenge!

Vincent and The Doctor Episode

The Doctor and Amy

Amy: We didn’t make a difference at all.

The Doctor: I wouldn’t say that. The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. Hey.

(Hugging Amy)

The Doctor: the good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
