Watch: THE NEIGHBORS Trailer Starring Zac Efron and Seth Rogen
If you have ever had a neighbor who you didn’t quite get along with, you know that things can get awkward, hostile and even a little out of hand when trying to protect your home and family. The 2014 film The Neighbors will bring this struggle to life in epic proportions as a ridiculous comedy that will delight any viewer. It may even give you a few ideas of you own if your new neighbors are less-than tolerable.
The Neighbors stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as a young married couple who have just moved into their dream-house with their newborn daughter. Their new suburban life seems perfect until the vacant house next-door is sold to a wild college fraternity. Instantly, the once-quiet street is turned into an all-hours block party, causing the young couple a lot of annoyance.
In attempts to put a stop to the all-night raves and pounding dance music from the house next-door, the couple approaches the brothers and asks them to tone it down. However, a few noise complaints won’t keep the frat bros from continuing to party. When the couple calls the police on the rowdy neighbors for their late-night rave, things get serious between Rogen’s character and the leader of the fraternity, played by Zac Efron. An all-out war between the frat house and their next-door neighbors begins, as they both fight for their rights to party or not.
To stop the brothers from throwing wild parties, the couple will stop at nothing to sabotage the frat-house. The couple’s outrageous attacks do nothing other than anger the fraternity, which makes them retaliate with vengeance. Whether it means breaking windows, cutting power-lines, causing physical pain or devising dangerous schemes that may require the help of powerful attorneys like Rhoads & Sinon Harrisburg, this battle won’t stop until an alpha dog of the block is chosen.
