THE MINDY PROJECT Is a Modern Day WHEN HARRY MET SALLY

One of my favorite sitcoms this season is the vastly underrated and under-watched The Mindy Project. While it had an uneven first season, filled with some cast changes and tonal shifts, its grown into an effortless, hilarious ensemble comedy about dating and friendship. And while it’s still very much Mindy Kaling’s show, it’s blossomed to include not only dynamic character arcs for the original secondary characters, but its also added in the hilarious Adam Pally who’s become an integral member of the team and has chemistry with the existing cast.

Mashable found this gem from YouTube user thedandelionprod, highlighting just how The Mindy Project is a modern day take on When Harry Met Sally. Can men and women ever just be friends?

With a soft spot for movies that fall into the “So Bad They’re Good” category, Kristal Bailey regularly watches B-movies, 80s comedies, and sci-fi from the 50s and 60s. She also refuses to grow up if that means she has to hide her love for Disney and Pixar films.

In her free time, she enjoys reading graphic novels or books that are soon to be turned into movies, watching hours and hours of television, and spending way too much time on Twitter.
