The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold, is this year’s most action-packed film. The 2003 horror film tells the story of 10 strangers seeking shelter at a motel in the midst of a terrible storm. One by one each member of the group is killed, but the murderer is unknown. We won’t spoil the ending, but this is definitely a mystery you will want to watch if you haven’t already.

Mangold directed this incredible biography on the life of country music man Johnny Cash (Joaquin Phoenix). From his successes and failures, to the monumental love story of Johnny and June Carter (Reese Witherspoon) this film will have you begging for more.

3.    Girl, Interrupted

Girl, Interrupted is based on the true story of the time Susanna Kaysen spent at a mental hospital in the 1960s. The film stars Winona Ryder as Susanna Kaysen and Angelina Jolie, who won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for her role as a supporting actress.

4.    Kate & Leopold

Starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman, Kate & Leopold is the love story of a Duke from 1876 who falls in love with a 21st century business woman after traveling through time. Leopold, the Duke, is only in the 21st century temporarily, therefore Kate (Meg Ryan) must decide whether or not her love for Leopold is enough to live in 1876.
