At Eirtakon I got to interview Courtnee Draper. Known for roles such as Annabelle  from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Tiffany from the  2008 short film Booth Girls, Courtnee’s career has exploded with  her memorable role as Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite. Joining Troy Bakeron in one of 2013’s most memorable and touching video games, Courtnee has given fans of the Bioshock franchise another reason to love this series of  games. A unique and compelling relationship that pulls you in and shows everyone that gaming is a form of art. I sat down with Courtnee and we had a lot of fun discussing her love of Irish weather, her interest in law and how Troy Baker always needs a relationship in his games.

Courtnee and Troy making sweet music.

Eirtakon is the largest and longest-running anime (Japanese animation) and manga convention in Ireland, held every year by a dedicated volunteer committee put in place by the DCU Anime & Manga Society.Eirtakon is held in the Croke Park Conference Centre – a dedicated conference and convention area inside the Hogan Stand of the legendary 82,000-seat stadium that is the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association.

Croke Park is located in the heart of North Dublin, between Drumcondra and Ballybough, on the banks of the Royal Canal. I hope you enjoy and comment below and let me know what you think.

I am a geek first and foremost. I love animation, film and comics. I live in Dublin, Ireland and love it. I have met so many amazing people over the years, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Mark Millar and Scott Snyder to name but a few. I love to sketch, write and talk about geek news. I went to college for five years, three years animation and two years communication and media. All opinions are my own so I hope they're witty and original, I'm fairly certain they're not.
