Music Monday: “Stay The Night” by Zedd featuring Hayley Williams

Every Monday, we highlight one song that you may not have heard of, may not have heard in ages, or one that we just can’t seem to get out of our heads. Enjoy!

Zedd burst on to the seen with the hit song “Clarity” and now he’s back at it with Paramore’s voice and beauty Hayley Williams in the new single “Stay the Night.” The new video features a lot of beautifully lit close ups of Hayley, who’s sporting some series The Fifth Element hair.

“Stay The Night” by Zedd featuring Hayley Williams Lyrics:

[Hayley Williams]
I know that we are upside down
So hold your tongue and hear me out
I know that we were made to break
So what? I don’t mind

You kill the lights, I’ll draw the blinds
Don’t dull the sparkle in your eyes
I know that we were made to break
So what? I don’t mind

Are you gonna stay the night
Are you gonna stay the night
Oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night

Are you gonna stay the night
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night

[beat break]

Are you gonna stay the night
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night

I am fire gasoline, come pour yourself all over me
We’ll let this place go down in flames only one more time
You kill the lights, I’ll draw the blinds
Don’t dull the sparkle in your eyes
I know that we were made to break
So what? I don’t mind

Are you gonna stay the night
Are you gonna stay the night
Oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night

Are you gonna stay the night
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night
Night night night night night….

[beat break]

ARE YOU GONNA STAY THE NIGHT

[beat break]

Are you gonna stay the night
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night

(Zedd: are you gonna stay the night, are you gonna stay the night, oh oh, are you gonna stay the night)

What do you think of the song?
