Fall is officially here, and the nights are starting to cool down. Besides the onslaught of new and returning television shows to keep you occupied, October is a great month to pick up a new Blu-ray/DVD for your collection. There are a lot of choices this month, so we have provided you with a handy list of new releases to help you choose. Check them out and let us know which ones you’ll be picking up!

October 1

The Croods – Directed by Kirk De Micco and Chris Sanders. Starring Emma Stone, Nicholas Cage and Ryan Reynolds. After their cave is destroyed, a caveman family must trek through an unfamiliar fantastical world with the help of an inventive boy.

This Is the End – Directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. Starring Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel and Craig Robinson. While attending a party at James Franco’s house, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and many other celebrities are faced with the apocalypse.
