Arnold Schwarzenegger Joins AVATAR Cast
It will still be a while before we see even a teaser trailer for the next Avatar movie by James Cameron, but at least we have little tidbits of news trickling down to sate our appetites. As we know already, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are reprising their roles, and the humans are coming back with a vengeance to the Na’vi home world to cause trouble again — we’re such terrible little stinkers, aren’t we? Possibly the most stirring news to date is that the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger has joined the cast.
Since his retirement from politics, Schwarzenegger has been making a push to come back to the silver screen as the BAMF we all used to know and love. Schwarzenegger’s character is set to be a villainous human general. If the human government is getting involved, it might be safe to say that there is going to be a lot of carnage in order to regain their foothold on the planet.
This will be the first time Cameron and Schwarzenegger work together in over 20 years, since Terminator 2.
Will their team-up on Avatar revitalize Arnold’s career since coming back from politics?
