The Top 16 performers on Season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance took the stage last night, and the bottom six dancers were: Mariah, McKenzie, Jenna, Bluprint, Alan, and Curtis. Jenna was immediately saved by the judges, and after both disappointed in their dance, Bluprint and Mariah were sent home. While I think that Alan has been better overall then Bluprint, I would have liked to see him stay, as now Fik-Shun is the only hip hopper left.

It was deep into the show before there was a standout number, and it was Paul and McKenzie who saved the night with a very impressive Dave Scott hip-hop number.  McKenzie, who needed a great dance to save her from the bottom three, shined in a number that was just the next step in an impressive campaign that Paul and McKenzie have put together. Check it out below.

The second number we want to highlight involves the proverbial dance of death on So You Think You Can Dance: quickstep. However, you would have never known how difficult it was after tapper Aaron and contemporary dancer Jasmine knocked a tough routine out of the park. There quick feet, and personality were a lethal combination in a dance that for me was one of the more memorable of the season so far.

For next week, I think Alexis and Nico will be in the bottom three. They have yet to have a memorable moment, and their jive to start the show was the most forgettable number of the night.  I think Alan will also be in the bottom three after a very poor performance in his hip hop number, and the last guy will be Curtis again. Hopefully he takes the note on the shoulders. For the girls, I think Alexis will be joined by Hayley and Jenna, since America doesn’t seem to like her.
