In case you didn’t know, earlier this year Adult Swim Games released their first original game on Steam. A port with a ton of new, exclusive-to-Steam content of the game of the same name from the Adult Swim website, Super House of Dead Ninjas came out back in February. And people really liked it.

Starting today, the love affair between Adult Swim and Steam rolls on without a sign of stopping with the release of Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe on the game service. The game comes out a little later today, and it’ll be regularly priced at $7.99 (with a 25% launch-day discount if you get it today!). Also, by the way, Super House of Dead Ninjas will be half off today to celebrate the release of this new title. So you can get spending in a little bit.

Take a look at some screenshots, why don’t you?

Here’s the description:

The title says it all. Take one part falling block puzzle game, combine one part old-school platformer, add a couple thousand pixels, blend and serve. Why match colored blocks when you can just shoot the hell out of them? Your goal is to survive as long as you can. From celebrated indie developer Andrew Morrish and Adult Swim Games.

Key Features:

  • 8 playable characters, each with unique abilities

  • 6 different worlds to explore

  • Dozens of obstacles, hazards and enemies

  • 18 challenges to overcome

  • Play single player or local head-to-head multi-player

  • Amazing soundtrack

  • Leaderboards support

  • 30+ Steam achievements

On the page for the game on Steam, the game also touts full controller support.

At the time of writing, the game has about two hours until it comes out. Perhaps we’ll have a review at some point! But if you want to throw caution to the wind and you don’t care what anyone says about no video games, you’re your own person and you can do it yourself, pick the game up on Steam today.
