Lollapalooza Releases 2013 Lineup

Turns out it wasn’t an April Fools leak, Lollapalooza has actually and officially released the lineup for their 17th year of great music.  The top four billed acts this year include: The Cure, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, and Nine Inch Nails.  Mumford is really hitting the road and festivals this year so they were somewhat expected.  The Cure is by far the most surprising as this will be the only festival they will be playing.

Lollapalooza has packed their festival with a plethora of great acts beside the top four headliners. Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, The Postal Service, Queens of the Stone Age, The National, The Lumineers, Kendrick Lamar, Eric Church, and Ellie Goulding are some of the other acts that are atop the list for this years festival in Chicago.

This is a very diverse lineup, one of the more diverse of the top music festivals but it looks to bring in a lot of people as general admission 3 day passes have already sold out. So if these artists are some of the few you would like to see, then a one day pass is your only option at this point.

Lollapalooza is held every year in Grant Park in Chicago, IL.  This year it will be held August 2nd – 4th.
