Blu-Ray/DVD Round-up 2/26: THE MASTER, HOW TO SURVIVE A PLAGUE and more!

This weeks biggest releases are The Master, How to Survive a Plague, Law & Order: The Twelfth Year, and The Client List: The Complete First Season. The Master’s Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, and Philip Seymour Hoffman each received Oscar nominations for their brilliant work in the film. Also, How to Survive a Plague received an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature.

• The Master, (starring Amy Adams, Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons, Rami Malek, Kevin J. O’Connor, and Patty McCormack). This is a phenomenal film, with brilliant acting by each cast member and beautiful cinematography. Joaquin Phoenix gives a performance that completely breaks your heart and reminds you just how amazing of an actor he is. It’s available on Blu-Ray and DVD at Amazon.

• How to Survive a Plague, this documentary received an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature. It’s available on DVD at Amazon.
• Law & Order: The Twelfth Year, Law & Order is quite a popular show as well as it’s other branches like Criminal Intent and SVU. It’s available on DVD at Amazon.
• The Client List: The Complete First Season, Although I never caught the first season I did hear a lot of good things about this show and how great Jennifer Love Hewitt is in it. It’s available on DVD at Amazon.
