5 Vintage Max Fleischer Christmas Cartoons to Put You in the Holiday Mood

While the kids today don’t know who Max Fleischer was, his contributions to the advancement of animated family entertainment are pretty important.  Betty Boop, Popeye, and Superman are just a few of the many characters he brought to the big screen, along with some pretty significant creative and technical innovations.  His characters possess distinctly more human qualities than others of the time and are brought to beautifully detailed life through masterfully crafted animated sequence.  What I most remember and appreciate Fleischer for are his fantastic Christmas themed cartoons (I had on VHS) that I watched on repeat every year growing up.  Thanks to the internet, I can present all of these vintage holiday animated shorts to you now and watch them whenever I want (instead of just when my mom would get the Christmas box out of the closet)!  So without further ado, please enjoy the laughs, music, joy, and Christmas spirit in these five fantastic Fleisher holiday cartoons.

He does not understand kids these days or the entertainment they consume.
