THE COMEDY Gets First Full Trailer

When you hear the names Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, you immediately think of the crazy duo who brought us films like their most recent, Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie. What you don’t think of is a provocative indie Sundance film entitled The Comedy. The title makes you think this film will be filled with laughs but the film is actually more intellectual than it’s title. It appears very art house yet has a certain enchantment about it that will draw you into this group of friends’ lives. Watch the trailer below:

Indifferent to the notion of inheriting his father’s estate, a Williamsburg guy passes the time with his friends, playing games of mock sincerity and irreverence.

Rick Alverson takes a partial writing credit as well as being the director behind this indie Sundance film set for a limited theater release on November 9, 2012. Also, The Comedy will be available on VOD on October 24th.
