ENCORE Presents THE BOND COLLECTION in July

ENCORE announced earlier today that July will be the month of James Bond. Kicking off with an all-day Bond marathon on July 1, ENCORE will then show a different Bond film (“uncut and commercial-free”) each night in July at 8pm ET/PT.

The July 1 marathon will feature (as a bonus, I’ve added who plays 007 in each):

  • (July 1) 7:00am  —  Dr. No (Sean Connery)
  • 9:00am  —  A View to a Kill (Roger Moore)
  • 11:20am  —  The Spy Who Loved Me (Moore)
  • 1:35pm  —  The Living Daylights (Timothy Dalton)
  • 3:50pm  —  Thunderball (Connery)
  • 6:05pm  —  Goldfinger (Connery)
  • 8:00pm  —  Tomorrow Never Dies (Pierce Brosnan)
  • 10:00pm  —  Live and Let Die (Moore)
  • (July 2) 12:05am  —  For Your Eyes Only (Moore)
  • 2:15am  —  You Only Live Twice (Connery)
  • 4:15am  —  Never Say Never Again (Connery)

For the remainder of July, ENCORE will show 19 different Bond films–one per night at 8pm ET/PT–as follows (once more listing the respective Bond):

  • July 1  —  Tomorrow Never Dies (Brosnan)
  • July 2  —  GoldenEye (Brosnan)
  • July 3  —  Licence to Kill (Dalton)
  • July 4  —  The Man with the Golden Gun (Moore)
  • July 5  —  Dr. No (Connery)
  • July 6  —  From Russia with Love (Connery)
  • July 7  —  Goldfinger (Connery)
  • July 8  —  Thunderball (Connery)
  • July 9  —  You Only Live Twice (Connery)
  • July 10  —  On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (George Lazenby)
  • July 11  —  Diamonds Are Forever (Connery)
  • July 12  —  Live and Let Die (Moore)
  • July 13  —  The Spy Who Loved Me (Moore)
  • July 14  —  The Man with the Golden Gun (Moore)
  • July 15  —  For Your Eyes Only (Moore)
  • July 16  —  Moonraker (Moore)
  • July 17  —  Never Say Never Again (Connery)
  • July 18  —  Octopussy (Moore)
  • July 19  —  From Russia with Love (Connery)
  • July 20  —  The Living Daylights (Dalton)
  • July 21  —  A View to a Kill (Moore)
  • July 22  —  GoldenEye (Brosnan)
  • July 23  —  Tomorrow Never Dies (Brosnan)
  • July 24  —  Dr. No (Connery)

Additionally, ENCORE’s Press Release announced that:

Former “Bond Girls” Olga Kurylenko, star of the hit STARZ Original drama series “Magic City,” and Eva Green (Dark Shadows) will be included in featurettes throughout the month-long Bond event on ENCORE. Kurylenko will discuss her role as former Bond Girl ‘Camille Montes,’ a woman deeply focused on avenging the murder of her family, and Green will share her experience as former Bond girl ‘Vesper Lynd.’
