It’s that time again: another weekly DVD/Blu-Ray Roundup!  Here are the new releases for the week and my opinion on whether you should Skip It! Rent It! or Buy It!

The big releases this week are definitely Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Entourage: The Complete Eighth and Final Season. Sherlock Holmes is one of Robert Downey Jr.’s best roles, he’s a fabulous Sherlock and Entourage is one of the biggest shows that has ever hit television, it was loved by many!

Skip It!

1. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, (starring Nicolas Cage, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, and Johnny Whitworth), DVD and Blu-Ray. Watch the crazy trailer for the film. Also, check out this behind the scenes video.
2. Kill Speed, (starring Andrew Keegan, Brandon Quinn, Tom Arnold, Nick Carter and Greg Grunberg), DVD.
3. A Little Bit of Heaven, (starring Kate Hudson, Gael Garcia Bernal, Romany Malco, Kathy Bates, Whoopi Goldberg, Treat Williams and Rosemarie DeWitt), DVD and Blu-Ray. Here’s the trailer for the film.
4. Monster Brawl, (starring Dave Foley, Art Hindle, Robert Maillet and Lance Henriksen), DVD and Blu-Ray.

1. Thin Ice, (starring Lea Thompson, Billy Crudup, Alan Arkin and Greg Kinnear), DVD and Blu-Ray. Check back for our review of the film.
2. In Darkness, (starring Robert Wieckiewicz, Benno Furmann, Agnieszka Grochowska, and Maria Schrader), DVD and Blu-Ray.
3. Good Deeds, (starring Tyler Perry, Phylicia Rashad, Thandie Newton, Brian J. White, Gabrielle Union, Eddie Cibrian, Rebecca Romijn, Yilan Alfaro Snyder, Jordenn Thompson, and Ashley LeConte Campbell), DVD and Blu-Ray.

Buy It!

1. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,(starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace, Stephen Fry, Eddie Marsan, Kelly Reilly and Geraldine James), DVD and Blu-Ray Combo Pack. Robert Downey Jr., shines as Sherlock and it’s easily one of his best roles. Here’s our review of the film. Also, check out two character posters!
2. Episodes: The First Season, (starring Matthew LeBlanc), DVD. The show has earned its many nominations and Matthew LeBlanc won a Golden Globe for his outstanding work on the show.
