Rupert Grint has booked two new film roles!

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, has book two really awesome new film roles, one of them even reunites him with Alan Rickman!
In his first new role, he will costar along side Shia LaBeouf in the film The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman. Shia stars as a normal guy who falls for a woman who’s been claimed by a violent crime boss. Rupert Grint‘s role has not been released yet, but when it is I’ll let you guys know! The film also stars the lovely Evan Rachel Wood. It will be directed by Fredrik Bond and the script is by Matt Drake.
In a previous article I wrote about Alan Rickman’s new role as Hilly Kristal in the biopic CBGB, Rupert Grint will be starring in this film too! His role will be Cheetah Chrome of the Dead Boys, who was a huge part of the club’s rising. The film will be directed by Randall Miller from the script that he co-wrote with Jody Savin.
Who else is incredibly excited? I personally can’t wait until CBGB is out! These roles, although we don’t know what his role is in The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman yet, are the biggest roles he’ll have outside of the Harry Potter franchise.
A trillion points to Gryffindor!
Do you think he’ll be able to break out from the shadow of Ron Weasley to become a successful mainstream actor?
