Music Monday: “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepson

Every Monday, we highlight one song that you may not have heard of, may not have heard in ages, or one that we just can’t seem to get out of our heads. Enjoy!

Sometimes, I like pop music. Sometimes, I hate how much I like pop music. This song from Carly Rae Jepson has exploded out of no where and now has over 40 million views on YouTube. When I first heard this track, I thought the lyrics were laughable and it was terrible. But, wouldn’t you know it – I couldn’t get it out of my head. And now, I love the damn thing.

Give it a listen and see if it converts you too:

Isn’t it annoying how damn catchy this song is?
