Buzzworthy: The most tweeted Super Bowl movie trailers

We’ve covered the Super Bowl commercials a lot already, but now it’s time to see what commercials had everyone all a twitter. The agency Way to Blue just released this handy infographic to show how the trailers fared in terms of the percentage of tweets that were talking about them. After watching the game and following along on Twitter, I’m not surprised at all to find the trailer for Avengers at the top of the heap! Check out the full infographic:

This infographic does not bode well for John Carter. The big budget sci-fi epic from Disney could be on its way to being a huge flop. Opening in just one month’s time, the buzz surrounding it hasn’t even been negative – it’s practically nonexistent! Another surprising find is that Act of Valor was more talked about than G.I. Joe: Retaliation. It would appear that America is more interested in the real life soldiers’ stories than those based on a toy line, even though it stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Bruce Willis.

However, even with this Twitter feedback, this in no way predicts box office. This isn’t a science and is just an interesting look at what got people talking during the big game.

What trailer got you buzzing?
