When I saw The Woman In Black, I couldn’t help it but some moments in the film reminded me of Harry Potter related stuff. So I thought I’d share these 5 reasons and see if anyone else caught them! (by the way, it’s not just the fact that Daniel Radcliffe is in the film!)

1. The landscape shots of the countryside.
The landscapes gave off such a Harry Potter movie vibe. While watching, I couldn’t help but be transported back to that world instead of the The Woman in Black world. I found myself just smiling uncontrollably though, so that was in no way a bad thing.

2. Daniel Radcliffe inside the train looking at pictures.
The train scene was so reminscent of the Hogwarts Express! They just needed to add Hermione and Ron and it would be like they were looking at chocolate frog cards on their way to Hogwarts.

3. The train itself.
When the train takes off and you see a bunch of landscape, you immediately think it’s on its way to Hogwarts.

4. The Three Kids.
Three kids in this movie together reminded me of Harry, Ron and Hermione. When you see the film, you’ll get it. One of the kids is even a redhead too!

5. Daniel Radcliffe with his son.
Any shot with Daniel Radcliffe and his son in the film,  by the train brought me back to Deathly Hallows Part 2. I wanted to cry.

Also one honorary mention, the atmosphere of the movie is obviously dark and scary. Some moments gave me a vibe very similar to the later films like Half Blood Prince, Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2.

I could tell you more similarities, but I shall let you watch Woman in Black and find them yourselves. I know I’m not the only Harry Potter lover out there who found these similarities and more!

I have to give all sorts of love to Daniel Radcliffe, this role was awesome for him! So proud. It was dark and intense and really just a perfect way to start his new path in movies.
