The Countdown to Coachella Begins as the 2012 Lineup is Released

Coachella has become one of  the most celebrated music festivals in the world.  Set in Indio, CA -the 3-day festival has hundreds of bands to see and millions of people to meet.  This year, festival organizers promised to make the festival 2 weekends, with the same bands playing, taking place April 13-15 and April 20-23.

The hotly anticipated lineup has been speculation fodder for fans, bloggers, and writers alike.  Today, news broke that the Black Keys, Radiohead, and Dr. Dre + Snoop Dog would each headline a day, respectively.  Now with the release of the full lineup, music fans around the world will be clambering at the chance to see all of these acts over one weekend.

Friday’s lineup boasts bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Swedish House Mafia, Pulp, M83, Afrojack, and Cat Power.  Head out Saturday to catch Bon Iver, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Kaskade, and the Shins.  Sunday will feature Florence + the Machine, the recently reunited At The Drive-In, The Hives, La Roux, Weeknd, and Girl Talk.

Personally, I’d be excited to see Radiohead:
