NBC’s COMMUNITY Will Return!

Fans of NBC’s much-praised sitcom “Community” finally have something to celebrate…sort of.

The half-hour comedy was pulled from the air after low Neilsen ratings in late Fall 2o11, and many feared it would mean cancellation.  However NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt has confirmed at NBC’s Television Critics Association press tour Monday that all 12 remaining episodes of the show will be aired sometime this Spring, though no specific date has been given.  As for whether or not we will be getting a fourth season, no news as of yet.  Greenblatt did hint that the show may be getting moved from it’s 8pm timeslot saying, “I’m really curious to see what something else will do there.”

It may not exactly be “six seasons and a movie” but things are looking up for Greendale supporters!  Knowing the show’s knack for self-awareness, who’s betting we won’t be seeing at least a few subtle jabs at the Neilsen system when it returns?

"Psst...you can take the tape off. We're coming back!"
