Freaky first trailer for one take film remake SILENT HOUSE

The first trailer for the upcoming film SILENT HOUSE starring Elizabeth Olsen, Adam Trese, and Eric Sheffer Stevens was recently released. It looks pretty suspenseful if you ask me. One thing that really caught my eye in the trailer was a quote saying that this was a one take movie meaning that they filmed the entire movie from start to finish without stopping the camera; there are no actual cuts to different point-of-views, the camera just moves like it were its’ own character. If they actually achieved this, that would be phenomenal in and of itself.

SILENT HOUSE hits theaters March 9, 2012:

This film is a remake of a 2010 film THE SILENT HOUSE (LA CASA MUDA) made in Uruguay. It too claims to have been shot in just one 78 minute take which is just crazy to me. I believe that they did it but the work and planning that goes into something like that is crazy.  The US remake of the film is directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau.
