Disney’s JOHN CARTER receives international trailer

A new international trailer for Disney’s upcoming film JOHN CARTER has been released.

“Civil War vet John Carter is transplanted to Mars, where he discovers a lush, wildly diverse planet whose main inhabitants are 12-foot tall green barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter Dejah Thoris, Princess of Helium, who is in desperate need of a savior.” –IMDB

The trailer looks alright. It goes along the same line as the US trailers that have been releases so far. I don’t know exactly what feelings I have towards this movie just yet. It looks somewhat cool but at the same time kind of brainless, like there is no real story to it. Seems a little too much like AVATAR if you ask me, minus the better graphics and plot line.

JOHN CARTER is directed by Academy Award winning director Andrew Stanton (A BUGS’S LIFE, FINDING NEMO, and WALL-E). The movie stars Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, and Willem DaFoe. It hits theaters March 12, 2012.
